Mr. Dumpster LLC
Helping homeowners, contractors, and property managers across New Jersey get the most out of their dumpster rental with clear, simple guidance.
Rain can add unnecessary weight and slow down your cleanup project. Follow these tips to protect your load.
Bag loose materials
Use contractor bags for drywall scraps, insulation, sawdust, and light renovation debris.
Cover when not in use
Use a tarp to prevent water buildup, reduce excess weight charges, and keep materials dry.
Schedule early pickup
If your dumpster is full and storms are expected, request early removal to avoid overweight fees and delays.
Snow and ice can significantly increase dumpster weight and impact pickup times.
Prevent snow buildup
Cover dumpster with tarp or plywood secured with straps or bungee cords.
Bag lightweight debris
Prevents frozen material clumping, added water weight, and disposal delays.
Plan ahead for delays
Call early if snow is forecast and your dumpster is near full capacity.

Mixed / Contaminated Loads
Loads requiring sorting or special landfill handling
For safety and DOT compliance, please follow these guidelines.
Do not overfill dumpsters
Load must not exceed side walls. Overfilled dumpsters may be refused for pickup.
Driver discretion policy
Drivers may refuse unsafe or overloaded dumpsters. If refused, the dumpster may be left on-site and the customer must remove excess material before pickup.
Road safety compliance
If a load is accepted and results in fines due to unsafe loading, any fines issued to Mr. Dumpster LLC will be billed back to the responsible customer.
Break down bulky items
Flattening boxes and furniture creates more usable space.
Load heavy items first
Keeps the center of gravity low and the load stable.
Distribute weight evenly
Prevents tipping and makes pickup safer for our drivers.
Avoid mixing prohibited materials
Mixed loads may require sorting fees or be refused entirely.
Clear the delivery area
Make sure the driveway or placement location is free of vehicles, debris, and overhead obstructions.
Ensure safe access
Our trucks require clear and safe access. Notify us of tight driveways, low wires, or narrow roads.
Plan your placement
Once placed, the dumpster is very heavy and cannot be easily repositioned.
Driveway protection (included)
In most cases we provide lumber under the dumpster casters to protect your driveway. Let us know of any special conditions.
If you're unsure about materials, weight limits, placement, or scheduling β contact us before loading. We're here to prevent extra charges and delays.
